G-11
Crafted from a soft fabric woven with silk thread, this textile features a motif drawn in Kurohaku [oxidized silver leaf] and further adorned with the Suganui embroidery technique. The embroidery stitch traces the pattern in the direction of the weft of the fabric and a thin anchoring thread is sewn across to secure it. In this piece, despite the wave motif being depicted in the same black hue, the embroidery technique and the oxidized silver create a subtle difference in appearance, showcasing refined and intricate artistry.
