This handwoven textile is crafted using the Tsuzureori weaving technique. It features a coarse weave, commonly used in stage curtains, with roughly four warp threads per three centimeters. Varying threads, such as thick slub yarn with its visible joins, and thread produced from lustrous materials, are used to create vertical stripes. The lustrous threads are not completely interwoven but instead gently draped across the surface with subtle curvature, thus creating a distinctive finish only achievable by being handwoven. This piece evokes a scene of a grove of trees at night.
