This textile features an added pleated finish, achieved by utilizing the thermoplastic properties of polyester, which melts at high temperatures and solidifies upon cooling. To effectively showcase the irregular, continuous pleating, a lightweight fabric compatible with holding its creases, was developed for this piece.
