B-10
This handwoven textile is crafted using the Tsuzureori weaving technique. This piece combines sections in which the weft threads are woven tightly, with others which are woven in a wave-like pattern. This leaves the warp threads exposed in places, creating a translucent effect. The weft threads are twisted with a heat-melting adhesive. After the weaving process is completed, these threads are then heated and melted to firmly secure the motif in place. The contrast between the two sections depicts a bamboo forest.
